Richard Hajas has 40+ years of water resource management experience in Ventura County. He led Casitas Municipal Water District and Camrosa Water District, overseeing operations for Casitas Dam, Robles Diversion Facilities, and the pipeline-pumping system. He also oversaw the design, financing, and construction of the Camrosa Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Conejo Creek Project, the largest recycled water initiative in Ventura County. Additionally, he chaired the Steering Committee for the development of the Calleguas Creek Watershed Plan, which included major cities, agricultural land, and wetlands.
